We’re launching a Refer a Friend Program for our Junior Golf Program! Here’s how it works:

  • When a junior golfer refers to a friend, they receive 2 raffle tickets.
  • The new friend will receive 1 raffle ticket.
  • At the end of the year, all tickets will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win 2 Disneyland tickets!
  • Both junior golfer and friend have to be a member.

Start inviting your friends and increase your chances to win while having fun on the course!


Member Donation Program

Each student asked to send out 10 letters to friends and family for donations (Each donation receives a ticket towards Disneyland Prize)

San Gabriel Junior Golf Awards & Scholarship Requirements

Scholarship Requirements

To be eligible for a San Gabriel Junior Golf scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must Be a Member of SGJG
  • Academic Excellence: Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 (or equivalent).
  • Golf Participation: Active involvement in San Gabriel Junior Golf programs, tournaments, and training.
  • Leadership & Character: Demonstrate strong leadership qualities, sportsmanship, and integrity.
  • Community Engagement: Participate in a minimum of 15 hours of community service or youth mentorship.
  • Essay Submission: Provide a 250 words essay on how golf has impacted their personal growth and future aspirations.
  • Letters of Recommendation: Submit a letter from coaches, teachers, or community leaders.

Boys & Girls Player of the Year

The Player of the Year award is given to one outstanding boy and one outstanding girl who exemplify excellence in golf, sportsmanship, and leadership. Selection is based on:

  • Being a Member of SGJG
  • Tournament Performance: Consistently play at least 80% in San Gabriel Junior Golf competitions.
  • Skill Development: Demonstrated improvement and dedication to personal growth in golf.
  • Leadership & Sportsmanship: Positive attitude, respect for competitors, and mentorship of younger players.
  • Academic Standing: Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Community Service Award

The Community Service Award recognizes junior golfers who go above and beyond in serving their community. Eligibility and selection are based on:

  • Being a Member of SGJG
  • Volunteer Hours: A minimum of 15 hours of community service or youth development programs.
  • Initiative & Impact: Leadership in organizing or participating in service projects that benefit others.
  • Commitment to Giving Back: Demonstrating a passion for community engagement and making a difference.
